Scholar • Writer • Thinker

As a communication scholar, much of my work revolves around perfecting the process of mass media reaching their publics by prioritizing ethics, truth, and genuine connection.

Since I was a teenager, one of my passions has been bringing people together, especially in the digital age and our social media-dominated world. The digital age challenges us to build strong connections and community through a screen with strangers and loved ones alike.

I started running music fanpages for musicians I loved to listen to at the age of thirteen, all of which accumulated thousands of followers in under a year for the pages I ran. This then blossomed into a passion and drive for media-based connections and work as I began to gain knowledge of audience data, prolifics, psychographics, account insights, account reach, and audience demand (talk about happy accidents!). This utilization of digital platforms has led me to seek larger projects and a role in the ever-evolving world of public relations, marketing, advertising, and communication.

Through my experience as President of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and a Mass Communication major, I have understood the crucial role of mass media in the lives of the publics they reach. Polishing the diction and media that emulates good intent, content, and reception from publics is what pushes me to operate under honesty, morals, and solution-based thinking.

When I'm not flipping on my "communication scholar" switch, I am probably at a live music show, capturing nature, or at Universal Studios Hollywood. See more here!
